Burger Bones

Burger Bones is a beef-burger specialist at 55 Queen Street in central Busselton, a small shopfront with an artistic streak and a cult following for its Yellow Burger and Bonafries. Dogs are welcome at the footpath alfresco tables, which makes it an easy lunch stop on a town walk, and the name alone earns it a place on any dog-traveller's list.

Hours are limited and worth planning around: 4pm to 7:30pm Tuesday to Thursday, then an 11am to 2pm window on Friday and Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday. The menu covers fresh beef patties with sauerkraut, mustard relish and habanero builds, a proper vegan burger, and gluten-free options. Off-peak weekday lunches are the easiest time to get a footpath table.

Getting there and parking

Queen Street runs through the Busselton business strip, with free street parking along it and free public car parks in the side streets behind the shopfronts. The foreshore and jetty precinct is a short drive or a moderate walk away.
