Jackadders Restaurant

Jackadders Restaurant, known to Perth regulars as 3 Sheets on the Lake in a former life, is a lakeside pub and restaurant at 88 Rosewood Avenue in Woodlands, directly opposite Jackadder Lake. Seasonal plates, a beer garden and water views make it an easy dinner stop before or after a lap of the lake with the dog.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor beer garden and terrace but not inside the restaurant, the usual split for a working kitchen with an indoor dining room. The outdoor area is spacious enough for a dog to settle beside the table, and staff are used to four-legged guests in that space. Carry your own water bowl for peak times.

Max: Book an outdoor table if you are bringing the dog, and aim for a weekday evening. The Friday live-music crowd fills the beer garden fast.

Worth knowing

The menu runs to pub favourites and seasonal dishes with a lake view behind them, and Friday nights bring live music to the garden. Hours are midday to 9pm Monday to Thursday, 11:30am to 9pm Friday and Saturday, and 11:30am to 8pm Sunday. QR code ordering keeps things simple when one of your hands is holding a lead.

Getting there and parking

There is an on-site car park off Rosewood Avenue plus street parking along the front. The venue is a short drive from Innaloo and the Stirling corridor.

Close by with the dogs

Jackadder Lake Reserve across the road has a paved lakeside loop that is perfect for an on-lead walk either side of a meal. For an off-leash run first, the fenced Wright Road dog park in Stirling is a short drive away.
