The draw is loaded gourmet hot dogs: the parmigiana-topped ParmyDog and the oversized MEGADOG challenge get the attention, backed by loaded fries, cold beer and wine. Live music tends to land on Sunday afternoons, so Sundays are the lively visit and weekdays are the quiet ones. If your dog prefers calm, pick a Wednesday or Thursday lunch, which also lines up with the markets trading.

Getting there and parking

The venue sits inside the Wanneroo Markets complex, with extensive free parking in the large market car park and flat, easy access from the bays. It generally opens 10am to 7pm Wednesday through Sunday, closed Monday and Tuesday.

Max: park near the market entrance, walk the dog through the outdoor rows first, then order. The bench seating means your dog can lie under the table while you eat.
