Green Olive

Green Olive at 13/21 Seymour Street is a big, casual family bistro, and dogs are welcome on its partly covered alfresco deck. The deck seats around 80, so there is usually room for a well-behaved dog beside your table.

The dog setup. The outdoor deck is the spot for patrons with dogs; the main indoor restaurant is not open to them. The deck is spacious with easy street-level access. It's a service area, so bring your own water bowl rather than expecting one.

Good to know. Think pub-style favourites, schnitzels, parmas, wood-fired pizza and pasta, plus a full bar, TAB and live music. It's a busy, noisy venue, better suited to a social dog than a timid one.

Getting there. It sits in a bustling part of Traralgon with parking available nearby and easy step-up access to the deck.

When to go. Evenings and event nights are loudest. For a quieter table with your dog, an afternoon or early sitting is the safer bet.
