Cruisers Hub

Cruisers Hub, also trading as Cruisers Alfresco, is a relaxed cafe and restaurant at 29 Jubilee Drive near the Port Lincoln marina, open from 6am weekdays and 7am weekends straight through to 7pm. It is flagged as dogs allowed on its Google listing, which makes it an easy early-brekkie or lunch stop with the dog before or after a walk along the water.

The dog setup

Dogs are allowed in the outdoor seating areas, which is where this venue works best anyway: a casual, family-friendly courtyard set-up close to the boat charter and marina facilities. Keep your dog leashed and settled at your table, and bring your own water bowl as there is no set dog service. Early morning is the calmest window for a dog that finds tour-departure crowds busy.

The food

The menu covers breakfast through to a proper Eyre Peninsula seafood feed. Breakfast runs from a cafe plate of eggs, bacon, tomato and spinach up to the Cruisers Big Breakfast with sausage, mushroom and hash brown, plus eggs Benedict. Later in the day it is fish and chips territory: a seafood basket with crumbed prawns, scallops and squid, a whiting pack, or a butterfish or flake pack with chips, lemon and tartare. Barista coffee, tea and a cabinet of cakes and slices round it out.

Getting there and parking

Cruisers Hub sits on Jubilee Drive in the marina and charter-boat end of Port Lincoln, a short drive from the town centre, with parking available around the complex. If you are heading out on a swim-with-sea-lions or fishing charter, it is a handy coffee stop beforehand, and the early hours suit a dog walk along the foreshore first.
