Eyre Roasted

Eyre Roasted is a small-batch specialty coffee roastery and cafe at 70 New West Road, a few minutes from the centre of Port Lincoln. This is a coffee-first stop rather than a menu cafe: beans roasted on site, a tight coffee bar, and a relaxed room where dogs are welcome while you drink it.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome around the space, which has a roastery-industrial feel and compact seating, so keep your dog close to your table and out of the roasting side. The crowd is takeaway-heavy, which works in your favour: order at the bar and take the cup outside or continue your walk with it.

The vibe

It is a family-run operation with a reputation for ethically sourced, freshly roasted beans, and regulars consistently mention the coffee taste and the friendly staff. There is branded merchandise and a bean subscription if you want to keep drinking it at home, and the roasting means the room smells like the product.

Pepsi: this is a weekday-morning play. The coffee bar shuts at 1:30pm and is closed on weekends entirely, so plan it into your Monday to Friday routine.

Getting there and parking

New West Road is an easy reach from the town centre with street parking out front for a quick stop. Hours are 7am to 1:30pm Monday to Friday, closed Saturday and Sunday.

Close by with the dogs

The Port Lincoln Dog Park gives your dog an off-lead run after the coffee, and the foreshore paths near town are good for a lead-on stroll. If you want a sit-down option with outdoor tables, Del Giorno's Cafe on the foreshore welcomes dogs in its street-side seating. Overnight, the Port Lincoln Tourist Park is dog friendly too.
