Del Giorno's is a waterfront cafe and restaurant at 80 Tasman Terrace, looking straight across to the Port Lincoln marina and foreshore. If you want fresh Eyre Peninsula seafood with the dog at your feet and the bay in view, this is the easy pick.

The dog setup. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the outdoor alfresco seating, which sits on the footpath fronting Tasman Terrace. Inside the restaurant is off-limits, so plan on an outdoor table. The seating runs alongside the main road, so a dog that settles calmly around passers-by and traffic will have an easier time of it.

Good to know. The kitchen leans into local seafood, with Kinkawooka mussels, King George whiting, oysters and prawns the regular draws, and it runs breakfast through to dinner. There is no dog menu or set water service, so bring your own bowl. Staff are generally happy to accommodate.

Getting there. Free street parking runs along Tasman Terrace with more in nearby public areas, though it fills up in peak season and over weekends. The outdoor area is at footpath level and wheelchair accessible.

Nearby with the dogs. The Port Lincoln foreshore walking path is directly opposite, so you can stretch the dog's legs on lead before or after a meal. The coastal path runs both directions along the water for a longer loop.

Best on a weekday or outside the midday rush, when footpath tables are easier to land and parking is calmer.
