Mo's Artisan Wood Fired Pizza

Mo's Artisan Wood Fired Pizza is a mobile pizzeria on the Coffs Coast, best known to PawScapes readers for its Sunday-evening pop-ups inside Reflections Moonee Beach Holiday Park on Lake Russell Drive, where the trailer parks up with an outdoor marquee and picnic area beside the beach reserve. Before you plan a visit, one thing matters: the whole setup, oven and trailer included, is currently advertised for sale, with the operator saying they are moving on, so the pop-up nights are not guaranteed while the changeover happens. The dog setup

When the trailer is trading, it is an open-air, park-style setup, which is the easy kind to bring a dog into: leashed dogs settle in the outdoor marquee and picnic area around the van, with no indoor dining to worry about. Bring your own water bowl. The beach next door is on-leash only under City of Coffs Harbour rules, and dogs are kept out of the sensitive dune and shorebird zones near the estuary and headland, so a pre-pizza stroll means a lead, not a run.

Worth knowing

The pizzas are Neapolitan in style: dough fermented for 48 hours, hand-stretched to order and cooked in about 120 seconds in a wood-fired oven at around 400 degrees, with gluten-free bases available. The operator has pushed out up to 180 pizzas in a single busy session, so expect a queue on popular nights. The park also runs a woodfired pizza and mozzarella making class, with the next session listed for late September 2026, if you would rather learn the craft than queue for it.

Close by with the dogs

For an off-leash run first, the council-designated beach north of Fiddamans Creek at Emerald Beach is the nearest proper run, and the Moonee Beach Hotel is the suburb's year-round dog-friendly fallback when the trailer is not trading.
