Moonee Beach House

Moonee Beach House is a large, family-style holiday rental a couple of minutes' walk from Moonee Beach, with a securely fenced backyard that makes it one of the easier stays for dogs who need room to roam off lead in a contained space.

The pet policy. Dogs are welcome, but only one dog and it must be requested and approved at booking, so do not assume a booking covers a pet automatically. Dogs of any size are generally accepted. An additional fee of around AU$10 a night applies, and cats are generally not allowed. Keep pets off the furniture and beds as standard house practice.

The place. A two-bedroom house with a large, securely fenced backyard and a covered north-east facing back deck, gated at the top of the stairs for extra security. There is a full laundry with washer and dryer, useful for cleaning up after a wet, sandy dog, and off-street parking for up to three cars.

Location & nearby. Just a few minutes' walk to Moonee Beach itself, with glimpses of Moonee Creek from the deck. Moonee Market Centre and the dog-friendly Moonee Beach Hotel are both close by.

Who it suits. Good for a family or small group with one dog that wants secure, off-lead yard space right near the beach rather than a compact apartment stay.
