Fishy Fishy is a casual fish and chips shop on Ballina Street in the centre of Lennox Head, geared to quick seafood and takeaway. There are a few footpath tables out front where dogs can sit with you, though most people grab takeaway and head to the beach.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome at the limited outdoor tables on the footpath; inside is people-only. With takeaway the easy option, many owners simply order and walk down to the sand. Bring your own water bowl, as one is not always out.

Getting there and parking. 34 Ballina Street, central. On-street parking runs along Ballina Street and gets busy in peak season; public carparks sit behind the shops on either side of the main street.

Nearby with the dogs. The off-leash section of Seven Mile Beach, north of the surf club, is roughly a 5 to 10 minute walk, which makes this an easy grab-and-go before a beach run.
