Chido Cantina

Chido Cantina is a busy Mexican restaurant on Ballina Street in Lennox Head, open evenings and popular with locals. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating at the front, so a footpath table is the one to book.

Good to know. The kitchen does tacos, burritos and quesadillas, and the margaritas get a strong mention from regulars. It opens Tuesday to Saturday from around 5pm till late, and booking is worth it if you want one of the outdoor tables.

Getting there and parking. 62 Ballina Street, central. Street parking is limited along Ballina Street and the side streets; public carparks sit a short walk away. Easy to reach on foot if you are staying nearby.

Nearby with the dogs. The main street is pedestrian-friendly for a walk before or after dinner, and Lennox Head Beach (off-leash north of the surf club) is a short distance for a stretch beforehand.
