Yum Siam Thai Restaurant

Yum Siam Thai Restaurant is a casual waterfront spot in the Aqua building at Shop 5, 300 Marine Parade, Labrador, looking across the Gold Coast Broadwater. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables out front, which makes it one of the few sit-down dinner options on this stretch where the dog comes along and gets a water view of their own.

The dog setup

Dogs sit with you in the outdoor seating along the front, on the footpath and marina side, with easy access from the Broadwater path.

Water bowls are often provided or available on request, but bring your own to be safe, and a mat helps a settled dog stay comfortable on the outdoor furniture.

The vibe

The kitchen sticks to traditional Thai: tom yum, curries, pad thai and other noodle dishes, Esan-style larb and fresh seafood, with lunch specials added on weekends alongside the dinner service.

It is mainly a dinner venue through the week, with lunch on Friday to Sunday, so it suits an evening out rather than a quick midday stop. An earlier sitting gets you a quieter outdoor table before the light goes.

Getting there and parking

Street parking runs along Marine Parade and free parking is often available in the nearby residential side streets, but check the signs. If you are already walking the Broadwater path, the restaurant is an easy walk in.

Make a day of it

Burn some energy before dinner at Nick Pavlis Park Fenced Dog Park or the Musgrave Offleash Agility Dog Park, both a short drive away.

For a daytime session, The Spit Dog Beach lets your dog swim and dig on the sand before you head back for curries at sunset.
