What visitors mention
Fillmore's is a fully plant-based venue tucked down a Kiama laneway, with an industrial-eclectic fit-out built around a converted combi van bar. It is relaxed, community-focused and explicitly dog-friendly, with live music a regular fixture.
The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor alfresco and courtyard seating, where the casual layout makes it easy to settle a dog at your feet. Indoors is people only. Bring your own water bowl. Because it is popular and the laneway space is finite, book ahead and mention you are bringing a dog so they can seat you outside.
Known for. A rotating, creative vegan menu, with the weekly Feed Me Bowl, slow-cooked black bean nachos and wood-fired pizza among the regulars. Friday tapas nights and the combi bar are part of the draw.
Getting there and parking. Entry is via a laneway in central Kiama, so it feels tucked away. Street parking is on the surrounding streets and gets busy on weekends and through school holidays.
Nearby with the dogs. The Kiama coastal walking paths are close for a stroll before or after, and there are open parks within walking distance. For an off-lead run, the Kiama Council lists approved off-leash areas, so check the current list and signage before unclipping.
Evenings have the best atmosphere when there is music on, but book first. Good for a longer, settled meal with a calm dog.
