Getting there and parking

It sits directly on the Kangaroo Point Riverwalk, an easy walk if you are already down by the water. Street parking on Goodwin Street and the surrounding residential streets is limited, so parking further up on Main Street and walking down, or arriving by CityCat to the Holman Street ferry terminal, are both better bets than circling for a spot out front.

Close by with the dogs

The Riverwalk runs right past the cafe for an on-lead wander before or after your table, and James Warner Park fenced dog park is close by for an off-lead run. If you want to make a morning of it, the Kangaroo Point and Story Bridge Loop and the Four Bridges Walk both start within minutes of the deck.

When to go

Weekend mornings get busy given the view and the brunch crowd, so an early sitting or a weekday visit makes for an easier time with a dog underfoot on the deck.
