What visitors mention
The lead. Brodburger serves its gourmet burgers out of the Capital Brewing Co. taproom in the Dairy Road precinct at Fyshwick. It is one of the more genuinely dog-friendly feeds in the area: dogs are welcome in the courtyard and picnic areas and inside the taproom itself, not just on a footpath.
The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor courtyard and picnic areas as well as inside the brewery taproom. Capital Brewing is well set up for dogs, with water bowls around the venue and, at times, dog treats on hand. It is a busy, open space, so a settled dog on a lead does best among the crowd.
Good to know. The food is flame-grilled gourmet burgers with the signature Brod sauce, plus big serves of chips and onion rings, paired with Capital Brewing beers on tap. It is family-friendly and casual, and it gets lively on weekends.

Getting there. It is at Building 3, 1 Dairy Road. The precinct has ample free all-day visitor parking across several car parks, so arriving by car with a dog is easy.
Nearby with the dogs. The Dairy Road precinct is walkable on-lead, with open spaces and gardens for a stroll after the meal. Note that dogs are not permitted at the nearby Jerrabomberra Wetlands, so keep walks within the precinct and streets.
When to go. Weekday visits and earlier weekend slots are calmer for a dog than the peak-afternoon brewery crowd. Bring water in summer and keep the lead short in the busier indoor area.
