Cafe Verde Pizzeria

Cafe Verde Pizzeria is a family-friendly Italian restaurant in the Fairview Green Shopping Centre at Shop 11/325 Hancock Road, Fairview Park, serving breakfast through dinner, 8am to 10pm every day. It works both ends of the day: eggs benedict and smashed avo at breakfast, then woodfire-style pizzas, pasta and risotto into the evening, with an extensive range of gluten free and vegan dishes. The alfresco area looks out across the Adelaide hills.

The dog setup

Dogs are genuinely welcome in the sheltered outdoor patio and alfresco seating, which is what makes this a destination for north-eastern suburbs dog owners rather than just a local option. The patio has handrails along it for securing a leash and staff provide water bowls. The indoor dining room is people only. Keep your dog leashed and settled on the paving; if they prefer something softer, bring a mat.

The vibe

It runs as a neighbourhood all-rounder with a strong local following, a beer garden out back and casual dining with hills views. Expect a relaxed brunch crowd in the morning and family tables over pizza in the evening. Because it sits inside a shopping centre complex, pet arrangements can shift, so it is worth confirming the outdoor-only setup still applies when you book.

Getting there and a walk first

There is ample free parking in the centre car park and access is flat and easy throughout. For a proper leg-stretch beforehand, the Anstey Hill Boundary Walk is a short drive south through Tea Tree Gully, or the Golden Grove fenced dog park lets the dog burn energy off leash first.
