What visitors mention
Cowaramup Brewing Company is a rustic, country-style craft brewery on Bussell Highway between Cowaramup and Margaret River, best known for its German-style beers and a grassed outdoor area where dogs are genuinely welcome. It is one of the easier stops in the region to fold a dog into, with plenty of room to spread out on the lawn.
The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the grassed outdoor seating area, not indoors. Keep yours on a lead and under control at all times. Water bowls are usually on hand, and staff are used to visiting dogs. Note there is a resident cat, Molly, so keep an eye on your dog if you spot her.
Good to know. The draw here is the beer, particularly the Cowaramup Pilsener and Hefeweizen, alongside a casual brewpub lunch menu. The outdoor area is sunny with rural views, so bring shade cover for hot afternoons or pick a spot under the trees.
Getting there. It sits on the corner of Bussell Highway and Treeton Road North, a few minutes south of Cowaramup town and roughly ten minutes from Margaret River. There is ample free on-site gravel parking directly out front.
Nearby with the dogs. The Cowaramup town centre is a short drive for a walk among the cow statues, and several dog-friendly cellar doors sit within minutes, including LS Merchants just up Treeton Road North. Gnarabup and the coast are a short drive west if you want to finish on a beach.

Weekends and school holidays get busy from late morning. Come on a weekday or early afternoon for a calmer table, and bring your own bowl if you would rather not rely on theirs.
