South Seoul Casey

South Seoul is the Korean fried chicken stop in the Casey group centre in Canberra's north, a short hop from Yerrabi Pond. It is casual, counter-style eating rather than a long sit-down dinner, and the outdoor tables are where dogs are welcome. Portions are generous and prices are modest, which is a fair part of the appeal for Gungahlin locals. This is a quick-turnover kind of place, so a well-settled dog suits the pace better than a restless one.

The address is 13/15 Kingsland Parade, Casey, in the Casey shopping precinct. There is free parking throughout the centre and the outdoor tables sit close to it, so you will not have to walk far with your dog.

Close by with the dogs

For exercise before or after, the Yerrabi Pond loop is a few minutes away and circles the water on a shared path. If your dog needs a proper run first, the Springbank Rise dog park is the closest fenced option, and The District at Crace is another local pick for a meal with a dog-friendly outdoor area.
