pulp. bookcafe is a family-run bookstore-cafe in Gold Creek Village, Nicholls, and one of the few venues in the precinct that explicitly advertises itself as dog-friendly. The drawcard is the large, covered outdoor area, which keeps you comfortable rain or shine.

Dog access. Dogs are welcome in the spacious covered outdoor seating. As a licensed cafe with a bookstore inside, pets are kept to the outdoor tables rather than browsing the shelves with you. Water bowls are generally set out in the outdoor section.

Rules. Keep dogs leashed and settled, especially given Federation Square gets busy with foot traffic on weekends.

Known for. A cozy spot to browse books over coffee, with a small garden setting, daily specials, and a kids' play area alongside the dog-friendly tables.
