Wokinabox

The short version. Wokinabox at 3/34 Abernethy Road is a casual Asian wok-and-noodle-box spot that is really a takeaway. Dogs are not going inside, but the footpath out front works fine while you order and wait.

The dog setup. Dogs are limited to the outdoor footpath area near the entrance, on-leash. The shop is a small commercial unit, so the practical move is to order by phone or have one person queue while another stays outside with the dog. There are no dog bowls or treats here, so bring your own water.

Known for. High-heat wok cooking, noodle boxes and rice dishes with a choice of sauces, and fast counter service. Open seven days, roughly 11am to late.

Getting there and parking. Easy to reach along Abernethy Road with free parking in the surrounding commercial lot.

Nearby with the dogs. Grab a box and walk it off at the nearby Byford Hills Walk Trail or one of the local fenced dog parks rather than lingering on the footpath.
