Flock at the Carrington

Flock at the Carrington is the restaurant and beer garden attached to The Carrington Inn on Bungendore's main street, and it's genuinely dog-friendly in its Elm Park Garden and rear courtyard, a solid stop if you're passing through between Canberra and the coast.

Dog setup. Well-behaved dogs on lead are welcome in the outdoor Elm Park Garden and courtyard area, which has plenty of room and shaded spots under mature trees. Dogs aren't part of the indoor dining room, so this is an outdoor-only arrangement. Water bowls are often put out in the garden area, but it's worth bringing your own as a backup.

Known for. The menu leans modern Australian pub food, think crispy pork belly, burgers and local Landtasia sausages, served in a garden setting with mature trees. Live music and community events run in the garden on weekends, so expect a busier, louder atmosphere on those days.

Getting there. The venue is at 21-23 Malbon Street, right in the centre of Bungendore, about thirty minutes from Canberra or ten minutes from Queanbeyan. Street parking is available along Malbon Street.

Nearby with the dogs. Bungendore's main street is an easy walkable strip before or after your meal, and the town's markets are held nearby from time to time if your visit lines up.
