This is a feed stop rather than a sit-down destination: order at the counter, settle at a forecourt table with the dog at your feet, and be on your way.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables in front of the shop, on leash, but not inside the shopfront itself. There are no water bowls put out, so bring your own. Because the tables sit on the shopping centre forecourt rather than a dedicated venue courtyard, it is worth confirming the setup with staff on the day; the counter team are easygoing and the turnover is quick.

Worth knowing

The kitchen works Turkish standards: gozleme cooked to order in fillings such as spinach and feta, lamb and veggies, and chicken with feta, alongside lamb and falafel kebabs, tabouli and pizzas on homemade Turkish bread. Serves run generous, and locals point to the gozleme as the thing to order. The shop trades daily from 11am, closing around 9pm most nights and an hour later on Friday and Saturday.

Getting there and parking

The shop is Shop 19, 1 Peony Boulevard, inside Yanchep Central on the northern fringe of Perth's outer coastal suburbs. There is plenty of free parking in the centre car park, and the forecourt tables are a short walk from the doors.

Close by with the dogs

Collect the order to go and drive a few minutes to Yanchep Dog Beach, where the City of Wanneroo sets an off-leash zone on the beach south of Nautical Court. It makes an easy dinner-on-the-sand combo in the early evening once the heat drops. For coffee before the feed, Lil' Sistas and Orion Cafe both sit nearby with outdoor seating.
