Timboon Fine Ice Cream

This artisanal ice cream shop on Timboon's main street is one of the few spots in town making a real fuss of dogs, right down to a dog-specific ice cream on the menu.

Dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating out front, but stay out of the retail shop itself as it's food-handling space indoors. Order at the counter and settle in outside with your dog.

Known for. Premium, creamy small-batch flavours like salted caramel, whiskey cream and honeycomb made from local, non-homogenised milk. For the dog, ask about "Scoopys", a low-sugar, low-lactose dog ice cream with inulin fibre that's made to be safe for them to eat.

Getting there. On the main street at 1A Bailey Street, Timboon. Street parking out front and on adjacent streets is usually easy to find.

Good for a short stop before or after a walk on the Timboon Rail Trail, which starts nearby.
