Landsborough Pub QLD

The Landsborough Pub is a historic country pub at 32 Cribb Street, right opposite the Landsborough railway station in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. The whole outdoor beer garden and deck are dog-friendly, which makes it an easy post-hinterland-walk stop with the dog on the lead beside your chair.

The dog setup

Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome across the outdoor deck and beer garden seating, and locals describe the garden as fully dog-friendly. Indoor dining is for people only. Check in with the bar staff on arrival and they will point you to the best outdoor table for the day.

Pepsi: pub gardens run on loose dogs and dropped chips. Keep your dog on the lead and settle them under the table before you order, because the deck fills up fast around the lunch and dinner rush.

The vibe

It is a proper old pub with a couple of eras in it: pub classics such as rump steak, steak sandwiches and parmigiana, a gaming lounge with TAB and Keno, a drive-through bottleshop and big screens for the racing. With more than a thousand reviews it is clearly a busy community local, so expect a humming room on weekends rather than a quiet corner.

Getting there

The pub sits in the middle of town, an easy walk from Landsborough station on the Nambour line and a short drive off Steve Irwin Way. Street parking runs along Cribb Street and the surrounding blocks. It opens from 10am to midnight daily.
