Miss Moses is a cosy neighbourhood bar and bottle shop on Sydney Road, Brunswick, known for craft beer, sandwiches and a relaxed local feel. There is often a resident dog about, which tells you how the place feels about yours.

Getting there. Easy on the route 19 tram, which stops right on Sydney Road (Moreland Road stop). Limited free street parking on surrounding residential streets; Sydney Road has metered parking but it gets busy.

Nearby with the dogs. Gilpin Park is about a 5-minute walk west for a run, and Sydney Road itself is good for a leashed wander.

Calmest earlier in the evening. A good fit for a dog that settles happily in a small, social garden.
