Lighthouse Pub

The Lighthouse Pub sits right on the Lake Ginninderra foreshore at Emu Bank, and the sunny lakeside beer garden is why you'd bring the dog. It is a casual, busy pub with a large outdoor area that connects straight onto the lake walking loop.

Getting there. It's off Emu Bank in the Belconnen town centre. Public parking rings the precinct but fills fast on sunny weekends, so arrive early to get a shaded spot where the dog can settle by your table.

Nearby with the dogs. The pub joins the shared paths that loop Lake Ginninderra, and John Knight Memorial Park next door has grassy open space. Keep dogs on-leash through the park, and 10 metres clear of play areas and active barbecues.

Come on a sunny weekday for a relaxed table by the water, or early on the weekend before the crowd builds. Skip trivia and game nights if your dog is noise-shy.
