Bassendean Hotel

The Bassendean Hotel, the Basso to locals, is a renovated 1930s pub on Old Perth Road with multiple indoor and outdoor spaces and a properly dog-friendly setup, to the point of running a dog charcuterie board.

Getting there and parking

The Basso sits near Bassendean train station, so it is an easy reach without driving, and free street parking runs along Old Perth Road and the side streets. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Make a day of it

Old Perth Road is a pleasant on-lead stroll before or after lunch, and Mary Crescent Reserve Off-lead Dog Area at Eden Hill is the nearest open run. Caff on Broadway covers the morning-coffee side of town, and the Maylands Peninsular Loop adds a river-adjacent walk nearby.
