Wallsend Dog Off-Leash Area sits within the Upper Reserve, between Lake Road and the tree line beside Ironbark Creek. Best visited early morning or the last hour before sunset, when it is busiest with locals but also coolest. If your dog is nervous around other dogs, a weekday midday visit is quieter. Good for confident dogs with reliable recall rather than nervous or bolt-prone ones.
