The City of Greater Bendigo is an on-lead municipality by default, so dogs stay on a lead here and under effective control. Skip it when sport or an event is on, and give the playground a wide berth.
What's here
Expect grass and natural earth rather than paths, with scattered native trees for patchy shade. There is no measured loop, so wander the edges of the grounds at your dog's pace.
Parking is informal nearby. Bring water and bags, as neither is confirmed on site.
When to go
Cool mornings and evenings suit it, as much of the ground is open to the sun. It is a calm stop for dogs that dislike busy parks.
