Little Duck Creek Reserve Fenced Dog Park

Little Duck Creek Reserve is a fully fenced, double-gated off-leash park on Robertson Street in Guildford, running long and narrow alongside the Little Duck Creek cycleway, so dogs get a genuinely secure space plus an on-leash walk option right next door.

The rules. Dogs must stay under effective control at all times even though the area is off-leash, and any dog showing aggression needs to be removed immediately. Pick up after your dog: council rangers can issue on-the-spot fines up to $275 for not doing so. If council mowing is underway, owners are asked to clear the area for 20 to 30 minutes while the work is done.

What's there. Secure perimeter fencing with a double-gate entry system stops dogs bolting while you're getting in or out. A few benches are dotted around for owners, waste bags and bins are supplied, and some mature trees give patchy shade. Water taps are limited to none reported, so bring your own bowl, and there's no lighting, so plan visits for daylight.

Getting there. Street parking around Robertson Street is generally easy outside peak times. Guildford Station on the T2 line is a walkable 10 to 15 minutes away, and local buses run nearby along Woodville Road and Guildford Road.

Nearby with the dogs. Baba Medo'z Pizza on Hawksview Street is a quick, casual, dog-friendly bite after a run around, with footpath seating and free street parking.

Saturday afternoons and Monday evenings draw the biggest crowds; Sunday mornings and midweek evenings are noticeably quieter if your dog prefers room to itself. Confirm current hours and any seasonal notices at the gate before you go, council signage takes precedence over anything written here.
