Dutton Park Fenced Dog Park

The dog setup

Dogs can run off-leash once you are through the gate. The park has an upper and lower gate, and both need to be pulled shut properly, because the fence line sits close to busy Annerley Road; a slipped gate is the main risk here. On-site water and shade trees cover much of the park, with a few benches for owners. You are responsible for supervising play and picking up after your dog, so carry bags.

Weekdays are quiet. Sunday mornings through early afternoon and Tuesday afternoons draw the biggest crowds, so if your dog prefers a calmer run, aim for a weekday evening instead. Being small and fully fenced, it suits dogs that want a contained play session rather than a long trek.
