Camp Hill Dog Park is the local name for the fenced off-leash area within Whites Hill Reserve at 258 Boundary Road, a roughly 2-hectare grassy park with separate big-dog and small-dog sections. It is a busy, social spot for southside locals and open 24/7.
The rules. Off-leash applies inside the fenced perimeter only; leads are required on the surrounding bushland tracks. Keep your dog under voice control, pick up waste using the bags provided, and remove any dog showing aggression.
What's there. Secure fencing, dog water fountains, benches and shade shelters, and some agility equipment. There is an on-site car park off Boundary Road plus street parking, and buses run along Boundary Road (check Translink).
When to go. Mornings and after-work evenings are the busiest; weekday late mornings or mid-afternoons are quieter if your dog is timid. Spring and autumn are the most comfortable, with early starts best in summer heat.
