Greenslope Fenced Dog Park

Greenslope Fenced Dog Park sits on Leeuwin Boulevard in the Cedar Woods estate at Bushmead, a small, fully fenced off-leash park open around the clock. It is built for one job: a secure run for smaller and medium dogs, with agility gear, a water point and bushland paths close by.

The dog setup

The perimeter is fully fenced, which is the draw here, with small tunnels and agility obstacles for structure. There is a fresh water station, waste bag dispensers and bins, limited shaded seating, and a paved, wheelchair-accessible entrance and car park. Parts of the ground use wood chips and mulch rather than thick turf.

Because the footprint is compact, it suits calmer play and small to medium dogs better than a big group of high-energy large dogs at once. Keep the gates latched behind you, stay inside with your dog and keep them in sight, and leash and remove any dog that turns aggressive. Community feedback also flags that part of the fencing runs low for dedicated jumpers, so keep an extra eye on athletic dogs.

Weekday late afternoons around 4pm to 6pm and Sunday midday are the busiest windows; weekend mornings and Saturday evenings are usually quieter, which suits a small dog or a training session. The park backs onto natural bushland with walking paths through the estate if your dog wants an on-lead leg after the fenced run.

Bushmead sits off Bushmead Road, reached via Kalamunda Road from Roe Highway, and there is on-site parking at the park. There is no direct public transport; the nearest stations are Guildford and Midland, each about five to ten minutes away by car.
