Baden Powell Reserve

Baden Powell Reserve is a fully fenced, off-leash dog park on Badgally Road in Bradbury, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with double-gated entry and agility equipment on site.

The rules. Dogs can run off-leash only inside the fenced area, and must stay under the effective control of a person 16 or older. Campbelltown Council caps it at four dogs per person, and any dog classified as dangerous or menacing must be muzzled and leashed at all times. Pick up after your dog and use the bins provided, and leave sick or unwell dogs at home.

What's there. The park is secure and double-gated, with agility gear including tunnels and ramps, a water station, covered seating for owners, on-site toilets and free parking. Dispensers are not provided, so bring your own waste bags.

Getting there. It sits on Badgally Road, Bradbury, easily reached by car via Appin Road or Campbelltown Road, with parking on site. Campbelltown Station and local bus services are within reach if you are coming without a car.

Nearby with the dogs. Mary Brookes Reserve Fenced Dog Park in nearby St Helens Park is another fenced off-leash option worth a look, and The Parkway Perk Cafe and Phams Noodle House in Bradbury has outdoor seating for a coffee before or after.

Weekday mornings and evenings are quietest; weekends get busier with local families, so aim for an early start if your dog prefers fewer playmates.
