What visitors mention
Windemere Road Park is a fully fenced off-leash dog park in Alexandra Hills, on the corner of Windemere Road and Sophia Place. It has a double-gated airlock entry and separate sections for large and small dogs, which makes it one of the more genuinely useful fenced parks in the Redlands for mixed-size households.
The rules. Dogs must stay on a leash until inside the fenced area, and must be under effective voice control once off-leash. Owners need to clean up after their dogs and stay with them at all times, not leave them unattended. Any dog showing aggression should be removed from the off-leash area, and restricted or declared dangerous breeds are not allowed in. As with all Redland City off-leash areas, dogs must be registered with council and wear their tag.
What's there. The large dog section has basic agility equipment, and both zones get natural shade from trees plus a sheltered, undercover seating area. There is a water bowl or fountain for dogs, ecosac dispensers and general bins. The wider park also has a playground, a skatepark and BBQ facilities, so it works well if you have kids or want to make a longer stop of it.
Getting there. Free parking sits right next to the park, and the entrance is easy to find on Windemere Road. There is no rail line nearby, so most people drive or walk from the surrounding Alexandra Hills streets.

Late afternoon on weekdays and weekend afternoons are the busiest windows. Mid-morning on weekdays is your best bet for a quiet run.
