What's there. Secure perimeter fencing, a tap and bowl for water, shaded trees and some sheltered seating. The ground is open grass, which turns muddy after heavy rain, so pack a towel if the forecast has been wet.

Getting there. The address is 28 Gundagai Drive, Capalaba QLD 4157, reached via Redland Bay Road or the Mount Cotton Road turn-off, with street parking near the entrance. Capalaba Bus Station is the closest transit hub, about a 5 to 10 minute walk or short rideshare away.

Nearby with the dogs. IndigiScapes Cafe and The Bush Pantry, both on Runnymede Road in the IndigiScapes precinct, allow dogs in their outdoor garden and seating areas and are a reasonable stop after the park.

Mornings before 8am and late afternoons from 4:30 to 6:30 are busiest with the before/after work crowd. Mid-morning to early afternoon is quieter if your dog prefers fewer playmates, and it is worth skipping a visit for a day or two after heavy rain while the grass dries out.
