M.Y. Roasting Cafe sits at 82 Hyde Road in Yeronga, directly opposite Hyde Road Park, and it has built its name on being genuinely dog-friendly rather than just tolerant of dogs on the footpath. It opens from 6am on weekdays and 6:30am on weekends, closing mid afternoon.

The dog setup

The menu is generous, simple all-day breakfast and lunch: poached eggs, smashed avocado, fluffy omelettes, pancakes and fruit toast, poured with Bear Bones coffee. It draws a family crowd, and on weekend mornings expect other dogs under nearby tables.

Getting there

Street parking runs along Hyde Road and the surrounding residential streets, and it is a quiet corner rather than a strip. Yeronga station is within walking distance for anyone arriving by train.
