JUNCTION CAFE

Junction Cafe sits in the Junction Place precinct at 23 Elgin Boulevard, Wodonga, the restored old railway precinct off High Street. Outdoor tables spill onto the open square where leashed dogs are welcome, and the open plaza around them makes it an easy, low-stress breakfast stop with a dog.

The dog setup

Dogs join you at the outdoor tables out in the Junction Place square, with plenty of room around each setting. Standard dining is outdoors only, with service dogs permitted inside. The plaza is open and flat, so there is space to settle a dog away from the table legs. Bring your own water bowl in case one is not offered.

Worth knowing

The cafe is known for solid breakfasts, popular bacon and egg rolls, fresh juices and good gluten-free options, and it keeps long hours: from 7am, running to 6pm on Mondays and mid-to-late afternoon the rest of the week. The restored railway setting is part of the appeal, and the square regularly hosts markets, which adds foot traffic on event days.

Getting there and parking

The entrance is off the corner of High Street and Elgin Boulevard in central Wodonga. There is ample free parking in the Junction Place precinct carparks, with flat, step-free access from the square's walking paths.

Close by with the dogs

The plaza itself is good for a wander before or after eating, and for a proper run the Belvoir Park Dog Park is a short drive away.
