Turquoise Wanneroo

Water bowls are often available but not guaranteed, so ask staff or bring your own. On sunny weekends the alfresco fills fast and weekend sittings run tight and loud, so book ahead and mention you will be outside with a dog to get a workable table.

The vibe and the menu

The menu leans big and indulgent: seafood boils, bottomless mussels, waffle stacks, pulled pork and a scotch fillet for the hungry, plus weekend bottomless brunches that draw a crowd. It is more restaurant-feeling than corner cafe, with table service and a full drinks list including prosecco. Opening hours run roughly 7:30am to 3pm daily; confirm current hours before you go because they have shifted before.

The cafe is at 10 Conlan Avenue, with free parking around the Wanneroo town centre. Best bet is a weekday morning if you want space around the dog; weekends are packed and the alfresco is in demand. For a pre-brunch run, the fenced off-lead area at Edgar Griffiths Dog Park is about five minutes by car, and Xcite Coffee & Smoothies on Wanneroo Road is a simpler coffee-and-go option on the same stretch.
