Heavenly Patisserie by Eli

Heavenly Patisserie by Eli is a Spanish patisserie at 18 Princes Highway, Sylvania, built around fresh churros, homemade empanadas and a cabinet of traditional Spanish cakes and sweets. Dog-wise, this is a takeaway-and-front-tables venue: seating is out the front on the highway edge, and dogs are not permitted inside.

Social posts show patrons sitting with dogs in the front outdoor area, but there is no official pet policy page to confirm it, so treat dogs-welcome-outside as the working arrangement and check when you order. No water bowl or dog treat program is confirmed, so bring your own. Keep your dog leashed and close - the Princes Highway is a busy arterial road and the tables sit near the kerb side of the frontage.

The food

The draw is genuine Spanish baking: churros made fresh daily, empanadas in flavours like chorizo and spinach, xuxos, ensaimadas, tarta de Santiago and tres leches cake, plus mousses and fruit tarts in the cabinet. Coffee and specialty drinks cover the liquid side. Takeaway is the easy format here - grab a box and a coffee and find a table out front or take it to go.

Hours and access

Current listings show a short trading week: Friday 8am to 5pm, then Saturday and Sunday 8am to 4pm, closed the first four days of the week. Before making a special trip, check the patisserie's social pages or call ahead - trading arrangements have been in flux, and its website is currently a placeholder page.
