It is as much a dinner booking as a cafe, so plan around the hours: Monday and Tuesday wrap up at 4pm, Wednesday at 9pm, and the weekend runs latest.

Pieno sits on Crown Street, a short walk from Central Station. Street parking on Crown and nearby Foveaux Street is metered and thin on the ground, so walking or transit beats circling the block for a spot.
