Sirens – Miss Buzz Kiosk

Sirens, run as Miss Buzz Kiosk, is a small espresso bar right on the St Leonards pier on the Bellarine Peninsula. There is no indoor area at all, so your dog is with you from the first order to the last sip, and the kiosk keeps dog treats on hand for visiting pups.

The dog setup

Everything happens outdoors on the pier deck and the foreshore around it: walk-up ordering, picnic-style seating, and water you will need to carry yourself, so bring a bowl. Dogs on lead are welcome the whole way through, and the counter sometimes stocks paw-shaped biscuits alongside the human pastries. It is a stop on a walk, not a sit-down brunch.

What it serves

Coffee comes from Coffee Supreme, and the food is kiosk-sized: jaffles, fresh pastries, a matcha bar and frozen treats for warm days. Reviewers single out the toasties and the view over the bay, and the kiosk has built a local following since opening on the pier.

Getting there and hours

The kiosk sits at the end of the St Leonards pier on the foreshore at the end of Bluff Road, with parking near the pier and foreshore reserve. Trading days are limited: it is closed Tuesday to Thursday, opens on Fridays and weekends from around 8am, and hours shift with the season and the weather, so check the kiosk's Instagram for the current week before you drive out.

While you are out there

The foreshore path runs in both directions from the pier for a long on-lead bay walk, and Milly's Beach on the Lower Bluff is a local, relaxed stretch where dogs are commonly walked, though you should check signage on entry. For a guaranteed off-lead swim, the Point Lonsdale Dog Beach is about twenty minutes away. Lenny's Ice Creamery in the main street covers the post-walk gelato.
