Zarraffa's Coffee Reedy Creek

Zarraffa's Coffee Reedy Creek is the plaza coffee stop for this fast-growing pocket of the southern Gold Coast, opening from 5:30am on weekdays (6am weekends) and running until 5pm. It is a drive-through first and a sit-down second, which makes it a convenient caffeine stop on the way to or from the dog park.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables on the small patio, on leash, and the area is easy to reach straight from the car park without dragging your dog through a shopping centre. The indoor counter seating stays people-only, as you would expect from a food service setup. Water bowls are not guaranteed to be out, so bring your own.

Worth knowing

This is the standard Zarraffa's formula done reliably: the Gold Coast roaster's own coffee, teas, cold drinks, cakes and sandwiches, with friendly staff and quick service. It is a functional stop rather than a destination, and reviewers rate it for consistency and a cozy outdoor corner. Weekday mornings before the school run are quietest at the outdoor tables.

Getting there and parking

It sits in the Reedy Creek Plaza shops between Robina and Burleigh, with plenty of parking right at the door and flat access to the patio. That same convenience is what makes it work as a park-day coffee stop: the fenced dog park at Tourmaline Reserve is only a short drive up the road.

Close by with the dogs

Pair the coffee with an off-leash run at the Reedy Creek fenced dog park. In the same plaza, Izakaya Midori also takes dogs on its outdoor seating. Further afield, Elephant Grounds Cafe in Robina and the Wild Cherry Coffee House in Varsity Lakes are both worth the detour.
