The Oasis On The Esplanade

A waterfront cafe and art gallery at 155-157 Redcliffe Parade, directly opposite the Redcliffe Jetty, with bay views towards Moreton Island. Dogs are welcome at the alfresco tables out front, which makes it an easy stop on an esplanade walk.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating area at the front of the cafe, on lead and settled beside your table. Staff are known to bring water bowls for dogs, though it is worth carrying your own in case they are busy.

Good to know. Reviewers single out the poached eggs and potato rosti, and serves are generous. The ground floor and a second-floor gallery show work by co-owner Zokki B, so there is something to look at while you wait.

Getting there. Street parking runs along Redcliffe Parade and the side streets, but it fills on weekends. Public parking bays sit nearby along the esplanade.

Nearby with the dogs. The Redcliffe Jetty and the seawall esplanade walk are right out front for a post-meal stroll, and Bee Gees Way is a short walk away.

When to go. Weekday mornings are calmest; weekends get busy and parking tightens. Good for an easy waterfront breakfast with a settled dog.
