What visitors mention
Little Green Bean is a small, sunlit espresso bar on Clovelly Road with an environmental streak running through its coffee and food. It's an easy neighbourhood stop for dog owners, with footpath tables sitting right outside the door.
The dog setup. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor footpath tables. No extra fee for bringing one along, but dogs must stay leashed and settled on the ground, clear of the walkway so staff and other customers can get past. Bring your own bowl to be safe, staff are accommodating but water isn't guaranteed to be on offer.
Good to know. It's a small spot, around 22 seats total, with mains from $4 to $16 and a strong focus on ethically sourced coffee. The outdoor seating faces the sun, a good pick for a late-morning coffee in winter.
Getting there. It's at 26 Clovelly Road, near the Avoca Street corner. On-street parking is available but competitive on weekend mornings, so check the signs for time limits.
Nearby with the dogs. Centennial Parklands is a short distance away with large designated off-leash areas, Queens Park sits right alongside it for an on-leash wander, and Fred Hollows Reserve nearby has shaded, leashed walking paths through bushland.
Closed Tuesdays, open 7am to 4pm the rest of the week, so plan a morning visit before the seats fill.
