Toast Cafe sits in the Olde Tudor Complex at Shop 6, 201 Westbury Road, Prospect, on the northern edge of Launceston. It is an all-day breakfast and coffee spot where the outdoor seating is dog-friendly throughout, which makes it one of the easier sits in the area if you are driving through with the dog aboard.

Hours run from 6am on weekdays and 7am on weekends, winding up mid afternoon, so it is a breakfast-and-lunch room. Note the kitchen usually closes a little before the advertised door time, and weekend waits can stretch when the suburb brunches.

Getting there and parking

The Olde Tudor Complex fronts Westbury Road with parking on site, and the Westbury Road corridor connects straight to the Bass Highway side of Launceston. It works as a coffee stop either heading into the city or out towards the Meander Valley.

Close by with the dogs

William Lawson Park Dog Park gives the dog an off-lead run minutes away, and the Kate Reed State Recreation Area has longer on-lead walking if you want to earn the breakfast first. Frankly Bagels around the corner is the local alternative for a second visit.
