Boy & Bloom is a trendy coastal cafe on Cliff Avenue doing specialty Dawn Patrol coffee and quality brunch, and it goes further than most on the dog-friendly front with a dedicated puppy menu.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating area, roughly 10 sheltered seats plus 20-odd unsheltered ones, so there's usually room even when it's busy. Water bowls are provided and there's a proper puppy menu with treats. Dogs need to be friendly, well-behaved and on lead.

Good to know. The puppy menu is the standout - a genuine drawcard for locals bringing dogs along, alongside the Dawn Patrol specialty coffee and a solid brunch menu.

Getting there. 48 Cliff Avenue, Port Noarlunga South. Free street parking on Cliff Avenue and nearby residential streets. Wheelchair-accessible entrance.

Nearby with the dogs. Port Noarlunga South Beach is a short walk away, the Cliff Avenue walk is a popular local scenic route, and Witton Bluff base trail and Moana Beach (a short drive) are both worth the detour for a longer leg-stretch.

When to go: open from around 6:30-7am daily until 2pm, so mornings before the outdoor seating fills up are the easiest with a dog.
