Dôme Café - Pinjarra

Dôme Café Pinjarra sits on George Street in the historic heart of town, and the alfresco tables out front are an established dog-friendly stop for anyone travelling through the Peel region with a dog in the car. It runs the full Dôme playbook from 6am to 5pm, seven days a week: hearty breakfast plates, burgers, waffles, scones and a solid coffee and cake cabinet, all fully licensed so a coffee can turn into a wine with lunch.

It sits opposite the historic post office and a short walk from the Murray River banks, which makes it a natural rest point after a river walk. Weekends fill the alfresco tables quickly, so an early breakfast gives you the pick of spots away from foot traffic. Getting there and parking

The cafe is at 21 to 31 George Street, Pinjarra, inside the Pinjarra Junction Shopping Centre. Free street parking runs along George Street with overflow at the shopping centre. The seating area is flat and easy to navigate with a dog on lead. Pinjarra is an easy stop on the way through to Dwellingup or Lane Poole Reserve.

Cantwell Park on the Murray River banks is a shady, dog-friendly patch of town for an on-lead stretch before coffee. Heading inland, the Dwellingup Dog Park and Blue Wren Cafe make a matching dog-day pair, and Pinjarra Caravan Park takes travelling dogs overnight.
