Coco Cantina & Co

Coco Cantina & Co is a beach-style juice and acai kiosk in the Peregian Springs Shopping Centre on Ridgeview Drive, sitting right outside Coles. Locals walking the neighbourhood loop make it a regular stop, and dogs are a familiar part of the scene around its outdoor seating, with staff known for making a fuss of the regulars. The menu leans healthy: Amazonia acai bowls, cold-pressed juices, superfood smoothies and Campos coffee, plus gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the al fresco seating attached to the kiosk, but stay outside the ordering counter, which is a food service window rather than a sit-down cafe setup. There is no confirmed dedicated water bowl, so bring your own collapsible one, especially through a hot Sunshine Coast morning. As with shopping centre kiosks generally, it is worth confirming the current outdoor seating arrangement at the counter on a first visit.

Worth knowing

Doors open at 5:30am on weekdays and 6am on weekends, which makes this an easy pre-walk coffee stop before the day heats up. It closes at 4pm on weekdays and 2pm on weekends, so it is a morning-and-lunch operation rather than an afternoon one. Prices sit in the casual range and the bowls are the thing people come back for.

Getting there and parking

The kiosk is at 1 Ridgeview Drive, Peregian Springs, inside the shopping centre with free parking out front and step-free access. It is a quick drive from Peregian Beach or an easy add-on to a walk around the suburb.

Close by with the dogs

The Peregian Springs Fenced Dog Park is close enough to pair a run with a juice, and Hadz Cafe is another dog-friendly stop a few minutes away towards the beach.
