The dog setup
Dogs are welcome in the dedicated outdoor courtyard, partly covered and closed in with timber fencing so it feels contained rather than exposed to the street. That extra barrier makes it easier for a dog still learning to settle in a crowd than a pavement table by traffic. Staff are pet-friendly, water bowls are usually on hand, and the pet menu means you can order the dog their own plate.
Worth knowing
The plates are built to be photographed: Taro hotcakes, red velvet lattes and cake shakes headline, with elevated benedicts and solid burgers behind them. Weekdays open early at 6am, weekends from 7:30am, with the courtyard filling fast on weekends as the brunch crowd arrives. Weekday mid-morning is the calm window if you want a table without the queue.
Getting there and parking
The cafe is at Shop 2a/20 Victoria Rd, roughly 50 metres from Parramatta Station, so it is very walkable from the train. If you drive, there is underground parking nearby, with around 1.5 hours free in the adjoining Coles car park, plus street parking on Victoria Road and the side streets.
Close by with the dogs
Parramatta Park is a short walk for on-lead green space along the river, and the wider river precinct makes a scenic loop with a dog. For fenced off-lead time, Dan Mahoney Reserve Fenced Dog Park is the local option. If you are cafe-hopping, Paper Plane Cafe and Homage Specialty Coffee are fellow Parramatta stops.
